Pro-X Privacy Policy
Introduction
This policy applies to each website, mobile website,
computer application, and/or other product or service provided by LT
Security Inc. ("Pro-X," "we," "us," or
"our") that plays the role of data controller.
Please note that this Pro-X Privacy Policy
("Policy") applies only to users of Pro-X and that all
personal data collected and/or processed by us relates to the use
of Pro-X.
This Policy describes what personal data we collect, use,
store, and how we disclose, process, and protect it, as well as the options
provided by us to access, update, and control your personal data and any other
rights to which you are entitled.
Please read the policy carefully before using our
services, as instructed in the policy. By accessing or using our services, you
acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to our collection,
storage, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in this policy.
1. APPLICATION SCOPE
Except as otherwise expressly stated in this Privacy
Policy, this Privacy Policy does not apply to situations where a third party
independently provides services to you through our services, such as websites
that may include the services we offer or in other third parties’ sites that
have a link to our services. Please note that if you use such third-party
products and/or services and provide your personal data, your personal
data will be handled in compliance with that third party's privacy
statement or similar policies. If your personal data was
misused or improperly disclosed on such occasions, we cannot be held
responsible or liable.
2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Pro-X will collect personal data provided by you in
the course of using the services or generated by using the services in the
following manner in order to provide such services to you, optimize our
services and protect the security of your account.
2.1 When you register for Pro-X service, we will
collect your country/region, user password, email address, etc. to assist you
in completing your Pro-X registration and to protect the security of
your Pro-X account. If you do not provide this personal data, you may
not be able to use our services properly. In addition, you can use the account
logout function of the mobile client to clear personal data such as email
address and password.
2.2 When you use Pro-X services
(including Pro-X cloud services), in order to ensure the normal use
of our services, we collect personal data such as your device model, unique
identifier, IP address, MAC address, software version, and network access
method and type. This personal data is necessary to provide you with the
services of Pro-X and is the basic personal data that must be
collected.
2.3 When you use the client login function, we collect
your email address, password, GPS and terminal information in order to provide
you with the basic services of the Pro-X platform. Refusal to provide
GPS and terminal information may only result in your inability to use
better services, but will not affect your normal use of
other Pro-X features. Refusal to provide email address and user
password may only result in your inability to use the login function, but
does not affect your normal use of other Pro-X features in guest
mode. In addition, you can turn off relevant functions and erase your personal
data in that function at any time. We will not disclose or reveal your personal
data to any third party without your permission.
2.4 When you use the custom image upload function, we will
obtain your consent before recording your local file resources (local albums of
the mobile client) in order to provide you with such services. Refusal to
provide such personal data may only result in your inability to use the above
mentioned features, but does not affect your normal use of other features
of Pro-X. In addition, you may modify the uploaded images at any time on
the client. Once you exit this feature, these resources will be released and
the system will not actively collect user information.
2.5 When you use the alarm subscription feature, we will
obtain your consent before recording your customer's unique characteristic
value in order to provide you with such service. Refusal to provide such
personal data may only result in your inability to use the aforementioned
features, but will not affect your normal use
of other Pro-X features. In addition, you may turn off the
function at any time and erase the personal data of your customer's unique
characteristic value in that function.
2.6 When you modify the country or region value, we will
obtain your consent before recording your country/region information in order
to provide you with such service. Refusal to provide such personal data may
only result in your inability to use the aforementioned functions, but will not
affect your normal use of other functions of Pro-X. In addition, you may
turn off the relevant feature at any time and clear your country/region
information in that feature.
2.7 When you use the feedback function, we will ask for
your consent before recording your email information in order to respond to the
feedback. Refusal to provide such personal information may only result in you
not receiving a response, but will not affect your normal use of
other Pro-X features. In addition, you can turn off the relevant
function at any time and clear your email address information in that function.
2.8 When you use the change password feature, we will
obtain your consent before recording your password information in order to
provide you with that service. Refusal to provide such personal data may only
result in your inability to use the aforementioned features, but does not
affect your normal use of other Pro-X features. In addition, you may
turn off the relevant feature and clear your password information in that
feature at any time.
2.9 When you use the initial device function in the
client, we will obtain your consent before recording your Mac, IP, SN, device
name, type, latitude & longitude, registration time, channel, on/offline
status and configuration (time zone, alarm, etc.), in order to provide you with
the basic services of the Pro-X platform. Refusal to provide such
personal data may only result in your inability to use the online features of
the device, but does not affect your normal use of
other Pro-X features. In addition, all device information will be
anonymized after you unbind the device at the client.
2.10 When you
use the UX program features, in order to provide a user-friendly service in the
future, we will collect the frequency of your module usage in
the Pro-X application. The whole process of collection and processing
will be anonymous. Refusal to provide this personal data may only result in
your inability to use the UX program, but will not affect your normal use of
other Pro-X features. In addition, once you opt out of this feature,
the collection of personal data will also stop.
2.11
Third-party services in the Pro-X service are provided by external
third-party entities and Pro-X does not have access to your personal
data generated when you use such third-party services.
Currently, Pro-X does not actively obtain your personal data from
third parties. If, for future business development, it is necessary to obtain
your personal data indirectly from a third party, we will clarify with you the
source, type and scope of such personal data.
3. HOW WE USE DATA
We process your
personal data for the following purposes:
3.1 To provide
or improve our services
We use the
personal data we collect to provide or improve the services provided by us, our
partners or other trusted third-party providers, such as to provide, evaluate,
improve, or upgrade services; to participate in market research activities
related to our services, to develop new services, to provide customer support,
etc. In order to improve the Services, we may also analyze product usage, but
these statistics will not include any personally identifiable data about you.
3.2 To keep in
touch with you
We may also
send you important notices, such as changes to our relevant terms, conditions
and policies. As this personal data is important for your communication with
us, you are advised to receive and read this personal data.
3.3 To protect
your rights
We may use your
personal data for authentication, customer service, security, fraud monitoring,
and credit analysis; to prevent, detect, or investigate fraud, illegal acts
that compromise security, or breach our agreements, policies or rules; and to
protect the legitimate interests of you, LTS, our partners, and other trusted
third-party suppliers, service providers, agents and the public.
3.4 For Legal
Reasons
We will share
your personal data if it is necessary to access, use, retain or disclose the
relevant personal data for legal reasons, such as are required by law or
mandatory government regulations; and/or required by law to protect your
rights, property or safety or those of the public.
4. HOW WE RETAIN DATA
4.1 Where we store
We will act in accordance with the laws and regulations
and store the collected personal data in the relevant local jurisdictions.
4.2 Duration of storage
In general, we will only retain your personal data for as
long as is necessary to achieve a specific purpose, e.g.
Email address. When you use the Pro-X service,
we need to store your email address in order to ensure your normal use of the
service; when you delete your Pro-X account, we will delete the
corresponding personal data.
In the event that we discontinue a product or service, we
will notify you and delete your personal data or anonymize such personal data
within a reasonable period of time.
When you have not used the service for 3 years, we will
delete your personal data and notify you 3 months before deleting or anonymizing
your personal data in the form of push notifications, announcements, etc. For
example, we will send you an email notification.
5. HOW WE PROTECT DATA
We strive to
ensure the security of our users' personal data to prevent leakage, improper
use, unauthorized access or disclosure of personal data. We employ a variety of
security measures to ensure the security of personal data within reasonable
security standards.
We have
established dedicated management systems, processes and organizations to ensure
the security of personal data.
In the event of
a personal data breach or other incident involving the security of personal
data, we will initiate an emergency response plan to prevent widespread
dissemination of the security incident and inform you via push notifications
and announcements.
6. HOW WE MAY TRANSFER AND / OR DISCLOSE DATA
We will not
actively share or transfer your personal data to third parties. If your
personal data is to be shared or transferred in other circumstances, we will
obtain your explicit prior consent. If necessary, we may transfer personal data
in compliance with the local laws of your jurisdiction. And we have taken the
necessary steps to ensure that your personal data is processed in compliance
with applicable law and that appropriate technical security measures are in
place to protect your privacy.
We do not
publicly disclose the personal data we collect. If we must disclose such
personal data publicly, we will inform you of the purpose of such disclosure,
the type of personal data to be disclosed and the sensitive personal data that
may be involved, and obtain your explicit prior consent.
As our business
continues to grow, we may engage in mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers,
etc. We will inform you of these circumstances and continue to protect your
personal data and require the new controller to continue to strictly protect
your personal data in accordance with laws and regulations and the standards
required by this Privacy Policy.
7. HOW YOU MAY ACCESS, DELETE OR OTHERWISE
PROCESS DATA
7.1 Access to personal data
If you would like to access your basic personal data such
as your avatar, user name, email address, or personal data for services such as
videos, pictures, orders, devices, etc., you can access your personal data by
going to Me => Login and clicking on the relevant function button.
7.2 Deleting personal data
If you would like to delete basic personal data such as
email address, password, or service personal data such as videos, pictures,
cloud records, alarms, etc., you can delete your personal data by clicking the
relevant data erase function button through My Homepages.
7.3 Modifying your personal data
If you would like to modify your nickname, email address,
country/region, etc., go to Pro-X and click the relevant function
button.
7.4 Withdraw consent
If you would like to turn off the user experience program
and personal data alarm, you can go to Pro-X and click the
corresponding close button to turn it off.
7.5 Deleting an account
If you would like to delete your Pro-X account,
go to Pro-X and click the corresponding Logout button to logout your
personal account. After logging out, your personal data will be deleted or
anonymized.
7.6 Right to object
When we process your personal data on the basis of our
legitimate interests (or the legitimate interests of third parties), if you
feel that this negatively affects your fundamental rights and freedoms, you
have the right to object to such processing on grounds relevant to your
specific situation. We will comply with your request unless we have compelling
legitimate grounds for processing that overrides your request or the processing
is related to the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
7.7 Request to limit the processing of your personal data
This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of
your personal data in the following cases: (a) if you would like us to
determine the accuracy of the data;
(b) you need us to hold the data even if we no longer need
it because you need it to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim; or, (c)
you object to our use of your data but we need to verify that we have
overriding legitimate grounds for its use.
7.8 Requesting the transfer of your personal data to you
or a third party
We will provide your personal data to you or a third party
of your choice in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Please
note that this right only applies to automated personal data that you
originally agreed to us using or that we use to perform a contract with you.
7.9 Feedback
If you wish to contact us, you can process your feedback
on our services by going to Pro-X and clicking on the appropriate
feedback button.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In order to
ensure a smooth browsing experience, you may receive content or web links from
third party providers other than us and our partners (hereafter referred to as
third parties). We have no control over these third parties. You can choose
whether to access links, content and services provided by them.
We have no
control over the privacy and data protection policies of third parties, and
such entities are not bound by this policy. Please review the privacy policies
of these third parties before submitting personal data to them.
Our service is
designed for adults. Children are not allowed to create their own accounts
without the consent of their parents or guardians. We only use or disclose
children's personal data as expressly permitted by law or by their parents or
guardians.
